Exkursion Barbell Club – Why I did it, Roman

Roman, why did you do the excursion Barbell Club?*Barbell Club Vor-Logo
Wanted to learn the correct and injury-free technique of the power lifts. I tried the Powerlifting Kurs a few months after my start in CrossFit Horgen, and my core wasn’t strong enough to perform even moderately heavy lifts without getting stiff neck. I learned some technique.

What was your biggest take away from the excursion?
The lifting ritual – using the same movements to facilitate concentration.

*Roman took part in a predecessor of the Barbell Club, the Powerlifting Course.
